For Immediate Release – August 6, 2021

BRIDGEWATER, NS – On the Friday, August 6, at approximately 1:05 a.m., Bridgewater Police Service members arrested Melissa Young for Failure to Comply with Appearance Notice or Summons under Section 145.3 of the Criminal Code of Canada.

As a result of the arrest, police located cocaine and a quantity of other prescription medication. Young was also charged with four counts of Possession for the Purposes of Trafficking of cocaine, methamphetamine, buprenorphine, and methylphenidate. She appeared in Bridgewater Provincial Court on Friday morning.
