Feburary 26th, 2011 Bridgewater Police have charged a 49 year old female resident of Bridgewater with Public Mischief as a result of a complaint she made about an alleged robbery in front of the Bridgewater Mall during the early morning hours on the 26th of February, 2011. The accused is alleged to have reported her purse being stolen and a quantity of money taken by four individuals. As a result of the investigation; a review of the Town's video surveillance system was conducted. This tool aided investigators significantly in bringing this matter to a resolution. The accused will be appearing in Bridgewater Court for plea on april 27th, 2011.
