Bridgewater Police charge adult female for mischief after alleged messages were being received during another investigation.

Occurrence #: 2012-138618

On February 6th, 2012, Bridgewater Police were called to a North Street apartment by EHS personnel. Paramedics were attempting to revive a 19 year old male, later identified as Brandon WENTZELL. He was transported to hospital where he passed away shortly upon arrival.

While Police were conducting an investigation into the cause of Mr. Wentzell’s sudden death, a series of text messages were received by the Wentzell family. Given the nature of the messages, they were passed onto Police.

The alleged messages caused police to enter into an investigation . As a result of that investigation a charge of public mischief was laid against a 18 year old Queens County woman on February 10th. Jessica Boudreau will be appearing in Bridgewater Provincial court for plea on April 18th, 2012.

An autopsy of Mr. Wentzell was conducted by the Provincial Medical Examiner’s Office. Police are awaiting toxicology results.
