Opening for part time communications technician
The Communications Technician
provides dispatch service when the full time dispatchers are unavailable. The
shifts are 12 hours in length and include days, nights, and holidays. This
person must be:
Communication Technician are under general supervision of the
Executive Assistant and will:
- well organized and able to multi-task in a stressful environment
- able to work independently as well as cooperatively with staff and the public
- must be computer literate
- must be proficient with standard office software
- must pay close attention to detail
- security clearance is mandatory
- provide telephone and counter service
- prepare court documentation
- assist in administration of operational and policy filing systems
- operate all software programs including CPIC, JEIN, PIRS, PROS
- perform receptionist duties
- attend a 1 week training session in Halifax
- have grade 12 or equivelant.
