Starting December 1/2013 the parking meters in the Town of Bridgewater will be closed for the Christmas season and will re-open January 2nd 2014. The Bridgewater Police Service wants to wish you and you family’s a safe and happy holiday season To clarify any confusion “parking violations” under the Nova Scotia Motor Vehicle Act will still be enforced by the Bridgewater Police Service. Parking tickets will be issued and enforced as usual.

9) "Registration Year" shall mean the period from the first day of April to and including March 31st in each successive year;The Nova Scotia Commissionaire who assist with the enforcement of the Town of Bridgewater Dog By Law will be canvasing the town starting December 1st /2013 taking a survey on how many un-registered dogs there are in the town of Bridgewater.
